MADINAH: In a remarkable manifestation of hospitality, disciplined service, and Islamic brotherhood, Mr. Abu Inban and the NRTIA Madinah Team accorded a distinguished reception to Hajj pilgrims arriving in the illuminated city of Madinah, the revered resting place of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Meticulously coordinated and executed with exceptional professionalism, the reception embodied the enduring values of compassion, generosity, and selfless service, ensuring that the guests of Allah were received with warmth, dignity, and utmost care.
More than 360 pilgrims from Tamil Nadu, who arrived in Madinah on the night of June 3 under the auspices of the Tamil Nadu Hajj Committee and were accommodated at Hayah Grand Hotel, were accorded a warm welcome by the NRTIA Madinah Team through an astutely planned and thoughtfully organized reception, reflecting meticulous preparation and exemplary hospitality. As a gesture of heartfelt hospitality, each pilgrim received a specially curated gift pack, symbolizing the team’s commitment to facilitating a comfortable and memorable commencement of their sacred pilgrimage. The volunteers also provided eloquent and comprehensive guidance on local regulations, logistical arrangements, and essential procedures, enabling the pilgrims to commence their stay in Madinah with confidence, clarity, and ease.
In recognition of their outstanding contributions to pilgrim welfare, the NRTIA team felicitated Irfan Ansari, Chief Coordinator of the Indian Hajj Mission in Madinah, and Jamal Zakir, a veteran Hajj Mission volunteer whose dedicated service spans more than four decades. Both dignitaries were honoured with traditional shawls in appreciation of their exemplary commitment to serving pilgrims.
The reception witnessed the active involvement of several dedicated volunteers, including Mr. Salam Taxi, Mr. Abdul Hameed, Mr. Shahul (Catering), Mr. Asif Ali Seth, Mr. Sheikh Mohamed (Madurai), Mr. Imthiaz, Mr. Shamsudheen, Mr. Sadiq, Mr. Durai, Haji Mohamed Siraj, Maulana Ashiq, and numerous others.
