Gulbarga Welfare Society successfully organized a Teachers’ Job Fair at Kabab Corner banquette hall Gulbarga, bringing together educational institutions and aspiring teachers on a common platform. More than 20 schools from Gulbarga, Afzalpur, Yadgir, Sedam, and surrounding areas participated in the event, while nearly 200 teachers attended seeking employment opportunities.
Addressing the gathering, Abdul Haseeb Nouman, President of Gulbarga Welfare Society, said, “Need is the mother of innovation,” and explained that the organization arranged the job fair with the vision of connecting schools searching for qualified teachers with teachers seeking suitable opportunities. He appreciated the confidence and enthusiasm shown by the candidates who appeared for interviews and extended his best wishes to all participants.
He further announced that GWS intends to organize such job fairs every year for schools and colleges. Highlighting the activities of the organization, he stated that since its inception, Gulbarga Welfare Society has been working for the upliftment of needy people irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. He added that the organization is also committed to supporting professionals through employment opportunities, training sessions, and skill development initiatives. So far, GWS has provided free Kannada spoken training to around 200 people unfamiliar with the language and has also conducted basic computer courses for fresh graduates to improve their employability.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Rafeeq, Treasurer of GWS and proprietor of Asra Public School, said that such job fairs are beneficial for both schools and job seekers. He emphasized the importance of training sessions for teachers and stated that quality education depends upon well-trained educators. He also stressed the role of parents in ensuring regular attendance of children and closely monitoring their academic progress.
Zameer Ahmed, Chairman and Founder of Innovative Group of Institutions, appreciated the efforts of Gulbarga Welfare Society and said the event provided an excellent opportunity for institutions to meet talented candidates from various subjects. He congratulated the organizers for the excellent arrangements and thanked GWS for conducting such a meaningful initiative.
Shaikh Chand Pasha, Principal of MMS School, praised the initiative and stated that the event was very well organized and received an excellent response from schools. He added that such job fairs are the need of the hour.
Mashak Sanadi, representative of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam English Medium School, thanked Gulbarga Welfare Society for inviting their institution to participate and said such events send a positive message to fresh graduates and teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mufti Mukhtar, Principal of ABC School, said that the job fair was organized with a positive vision and fulfilled an important need of the present time by enabling teachers to attend interviews and selection processes at one place. He described the initiative as highly commendable.
General Secretary Waseem Alandi welcomed the school managements, teachers, and distinguished guests. Vice President Khalid Afzal Jagirdar delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all participating schools, guests, and candidates. He especially thanked President Abdul Haseeb Nouman for leading the successful organization of the event and appreciated Treasurer Mohammed Rafeeq for conceptualizing the idea of the job fair.
He also thanked Gulbarga Headlines, Deccan Digest, and G-Media for covering the event and acknowledged the untiring efforts of Rafeeq Juhi, Aleem Khaleefa, Layeeq Baig, and General Secretary Waseem Alandi in ensuring the success of the programme.
