The celebration witnessed the participation of distinguished guests, community leaders, families, well-wishers, and members, reflecting the deep respect and goodwill the organisation enjoys within the community. One of the most inspiring moments of the evening was the felicitation of students who achieved outstanding results in the SSLC, Higher Secondary (Plus Two), the young achievers were honoured with commemorative mementoes in recognition of their academic excellence, perseverance, and dedication, reaffirming the organisation’s steadfast commitment to encouraging education as the foundation of community progress.
The anniversary celebrations were inaugurated by Anwar Shaj, Principal of Ahdab International School, who commended Malabar Adukkala Jeddah for consistently nurturing academic excellence while fostering compassion, unity, and social responsibility among expatriate Malayali families. Several prominent community leaders and well-wishers, including Vasu Vettan, Shameela Moosa, K.T. Muneer, Hasan Yamaha, Salah Karadan, Dr. Faisal, Nithesh, and Rasheed, paid rich tributes to the organisation. The event also recognised winners of the anniversary online competitions, showcasing the organisation’s commitment to encouraging creativity and community participation. Rajiya Veeran secured the first prize in the “A Letter to Mother” online writing competition, while Blency Kurian emerged as the winner of the online quiz. Participants of the Mango Recipe Contest were also felicitated for their creativity and enthusiastic involvement.
The Jeddah celebrations formed part of the worldwide anniversary observances of World Malabar Adukkala, highlighting the organisation’s shared vision and unified spirit across its global chapters. In recognition of his valuable contributions to the media fraternity, A7 Videographer Asif Palathingal was honoured with a special Malabar Adukkala Memento, receiving warm appreciation from the audience for his dedicated service and professional excellence.
