Dubai, July 10, 2025: Rayad Group, a Dubai-based visa advisory firm, has issued a public apology for spreading misleading information about a purported “lifetime” UAE Golden Visa program. The company falsely claimed that the UAE government was offering lifetime residency for a one-time fee of AED 100,000 (approximately ₹23.30 lakh), sparking widespread confusion, particularly among Indian nationals.
The controversy erupted after media reports, citing Rayad Group, suggested that the UAE had introduced a nomination-based Golden Visa scheme for certain nationalities. The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) swiftly debunked these claims on July 8, 2025, stating that no such program exists and that all Golden Visa applications must be processed through official government channels. The ICP warned of legal action against entities spreading false information to exploit applicants.
In a statement, Rayad Group acknowledged the misinformation and took “full responsibility” for the confusion. “We apologize unreservedly for the public confusion caused by recent reports and commentary,” the firm said, clarifying that “no guaranteed visa, fixed-price program, or lifetime UAE residency product currently exists.” The company also announced it would discontinue its private advisory services for Golden Visa applications to avoid further miscommunication.livemint.comcnbctv18.com
The false claims, which went viral on social media, even triggered a meme fest online, with users humorously reacting to the idea of a ₹23 lakh lifetime visa. The ICP reiterated that Golden Visa processes are transparent, handled exclusively via its official website or mobile app, and urged the public to verify information through authorized sources to avoid scams.ndtv.comdailytimes.com.pk
