The Indian Overseas Forum (IOF) – Eastern Province Committee, in collaboration with Gulf Asian Medical Centerand Almana Medical Group, successfully organised a Blood Donation Drive in Jubail on Friday, 17 July 2026.
The campaign received an overwhelming response, with 107 people visiting the camp and blood collected from 80 donors. The initiative marked the first blood donation drive held at Gulf Asian Medical Center and achieved one of the highest one-day blood collections conducted by Almana Medical Group.
The campaign was led by Mr. Harish Mehta of IOF, with the dedicated support of Mr. Anil Malpani, Mr. Narendra Shetty, Mrs. Roshna, Mr. Rahul Ravi, Mr. Roshan Rajput, Mr. Prasanth, Mr. Kartik and many other volunteers, who contributed to its smooth planning and execution.
The event was attended and supported by IOF National Committee members Mr. Mukesh Gupta and Mr. Sivaprasath, whose presence encouraged the organising team, donors and volunteers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Harish Mehta said:
“The success of this campaign belongs to every donor, volunteer and healthcare professional who contributed with a spirit of service. The enthusiastic response demonstrates the compassion and responsibility of our community. We hope this initiative encourages more people to become regular blood donors and inspires similar campaigns in the future.”
Mr. Anil Malpani, President of IOF–Eastern Province, said:

This blood donation campaign reflects IOF’s commitment to bringing the community together for meaningful humanitarian service. We sincerely thank all the donors who came forward, as well as the community leaders who encouraged participation and supported the initiative. Their trust, cooperation and spirit of seva made this campaign a memorable success.”
The blood collected through the campaign has the potential to benefit up to 240 patients. The community response exceeded expectations, and six additional eligible donors could not donate after the available blood collection materials were exhausted. Arrangements will be made separately to accommodate them.
The Indian Overseas Forum extends its heartfelt gratitude to all blood donors who came forward and generously supported this life-saving cause. IOF also thanks the community leaders who promoted the campaign and encouraged members of the community to participate.
