JEDDAH, June 29: The International School Jeddah celebrated its Annual Award Presentation Ceremony with great enthusiasm at the Boys’ Section auditorium on June 27, bringing together students, parents, teachers, and distinguished guests to honor outstanding achievements during the 2025–2026 academic year.
The event was graced by the Consul General of India in Jeddah, Shri Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, as the Chief Guest. Among the dignitaries present were Madam Fahmeena Khan, Madam Abeda Khatoon, Chairman of the School Managing Committee (SMC) Dr. Muhammed Aslam, and members of the school management committee (SMC). The Chief Guest and Madam Abeda Khatoon were welcomed with bouquets by School Head Boy Master Muaaz Ziya Ul Haq and Head Girl Miss Afsana Fathima.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Principal Dr. Muhammed Imran, who presented the school’s annual report highlighting the institution’s achievements, milestones, and progress during the academic year. He reaffirmed the school’s commitment to providing holistic education and nurturing excellence in every sphere.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Muhammed Aslam emphasized that the school’s mission is to cultivate an environment where excellence is pursued with humility, discipline is balanced with compassion, and innovation is guided by integrity. He also expressed gratitude to parents for their continued trust and support in the school’s educational journey.
In his keynote address, Chief Guest Shri Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri shared personal experiences about the lasting influence of his teachers and encouraged students to view success beyond awards. “An award recognizesachievement but does not define potential,” he said, adding that every child possesses unique talents in academics, sports, arts, innovation, or community service. He urged students to continue learning, growing, and believing in their abilities, regardless of the challenges they encounter.
The ceremony featured the presentation of awards to meritorious students from Classes VI to XII for their outstanding academic performance and achievements in co-curricular activities. Proud parents and teachers applauded as students received certificates and commemorative photographs to mark their accomplishments.
Among the Class XII toppers, Miss Safa Mohiuddin Khan secured the first position in the AISSC Examination with an impressive 98.8 per cent. Miss Aysha Naureen Jamal stood second with 98 per cent, while Master Abdul Rahman Bin Ehtesham secured the third position with 97.8 per cent.
In the Class X AISS Examination, Master Ayaan Mahfouzemerged as the school topper with 99.2 per cent. Miss Nirja Rambhaji Gayake secured the second position with 98.8 per cent, followed by Master Ahon Roy, who secured the third position with 98.6 per cent. Stream-wise toppers of Class XII were also felicitated during the ceremony.
The school also recognized exceptional achievements in sports and other co-scholastic fields. Miss Amina Reham was honored for winning gold medals in both the Kingdom Championship Under-19 Singles and the Elite Championship Under-19 Singles. Master Muhammed Hussain was felicitated for representing the Saudi Arabia Under-19-cricket team in the ACC Premier Cup held in the UAE. Master Yahya Nasrul Islam received special recognition for designing the cover page of the school’s 2026–2027 diary.
Adding colour to the celebrations, students presented a graceful semi-classical Kathak dance, while the School Music Club welcomed the audience with a melodious musical performance.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Bushra Khatoon Zaidi, who expressed appreciation to the dignitaries, parents, faculty members, students, and the School Managing Committee for their valuable contributions in making the event a memorable success.
