Jeddah – The Telangana Welfare Foundation (TWF) Jeddahorganized the 20th session of its flagship matrimonial initiative, Rah-e-Nikah, held on Friday, 24 April 2026, at Shadab Hotel, Jeddah.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mahmood Hussain. A briefing followed this from Rafi Uddin, who outlined the activities of TWF and explained the registration process to parents.
The event witnessed a significant turnout, with a large number of parents from the Indian expatriate community participating enthusiastically. The session also recorded numerous new registrations, underscoring the growing trust and rising popularity of the initiative within the community.
Rah-e-Nikah, a flagship initiative of the Telangana Welfare Foundation (TWF), serves as a dedicated platform to support Indian expatriate families in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by facilitating matrimonial alliances for their children. The program enables parents to meet in person, engage in direct interactions, and explore suitable matches for their sons and daughters in a respectful and structured environment.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Telangana Welfare Foundation (TWF) said that Rah-e-Nikah is a completely free service aimed at strengthening community bonds and simplifying the matchmaking process. They noted that parents can register their wards by submitting biodata via WhatsApp, while the foundation provides continuous support through 24/7 online assistance managed by experienced senior members.
All expenses related to organizing the program are borne by the office bearers of the Telangana Welfare Foundation (TWF), reflecting their strong commitment to community service and welfare.
The organizing committee for the event comprised Syed Afzal, Hassan Bin Salem, Mohammed Mazheruddin, Samir Siddique, Mohammed Junaid, Rafi Uddin, Mahmood Hussain, Mohammed Arshaduddin, Khaja Mahboob, Abdul Rahman Shoukat Ali Khan and Syed Shareef. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth execution and overall success of the Rah-e-Nikah program.
Syed Afzal also expressed sincere gratitude to the young volunteers and women members of TWF for dedicating their valuable time over weekends to ensure the success of the event.
