JEDDAH: In a development of considerable significance—reflecting the enduring synergy between enterprise and governance in safeguarding economic stability and national food security—M. A. Yusuff Ali, Chairman of Lulu Group International, convened a high-level meeting with Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, (Saudi Minister of Commerce) Bandar bin Ibrahim Al Khorayef, (Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources) and Fahad bin Abduljalil Al-Saif (Saudi Minister of Investment).
The deliberations were marked by both substance and foresight, as Mr. Yusuff Ali articulated with clarity the comprehensive and forward-thinking strategies adopted by the Group to ensure the uninterrupted availability of essential food commodities across the Kingdom—particularly in the face of evolving regional dynamics within the Gulf. His exposition underscored not merely operational resilience, but a deeply ingrained commitment to societal well-being.
The ministers, in turn, expressed their profound appreciation for the Group’s steadfast and exemplary efforts in maintaining a seamless and dependable supply chain. They further reaffirmed the Kingdom’s unwavering support and facilitation, recognising the pivotal role of such partnerships in fortifying food security and enhancing supply chain resilience at a national scale.
The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Haris, Director of Lulu Saudi, and Namil Nazeer, Commercial Director, alongside senior officials from the respective ministries. It concluded on a distinctly optimistic and forward-looking note—reaffirming a shared vision for deeper collaboration and sustained progress in strengthening the Kingdom’s food security framework.
