JEDDAH: In a resplendent celebration of music, artistry and India’s rich cultural plurality, MAS Jeddah staged Rang Tarang, an enthralling Hindi musical extravaganza that brought together melody, emotion and camaraderie in a memorable evening of entertainment. Meticulously conceptualised and curated by Hassan Kondotty and Nooh Beemapally, the programme attracted a vibrant cross-section of music aficionados, effortlessly transcending linguistic, regional and cultural frontiers.
Held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at BMR Restaurant, Mushrifah, the event unfolded before a packed and enthusiastic audience. The venue reverberated with the evergreen melodies of Hindi cinema, while soulful vocals, spirited performances and captivating stagecraft created an atmosphere charged with energy and anticipation.
Jeddah’s acclaimed Bollywood singer Bassam emerged as the evening’s principal attraction, winning the audience with his magnetic stage presence and mellifluous renditions of popular Hindi numbers. His performances elicited thunderous applause and enthusiastic appreciation. The musical night was further enriched by Nooh Beemapally, Sofia Sunil, Raiza Aamir, Adnan, Rafi Aluva, Mansoor Pang, Aishwarya Anil, Harishma, Ardra, Afra Sabin Rafi, Ramya Bruce and Hassan Kondotty, who delivered an eclectic repertoire of Hindi melodies, transforming the venue into a pulsating celebration of Bollywood music.
Adding finesse and vivacity to the proceedings, Suvija Sathyan and Hassan Kondotty served as versatile and charismatic compères, steering the programme with warmth, elegance and infectious energy. Nawas Beemapally, Gafoor Mahi and Ashraf Chukkan extended a gracious welcome to the gathering, while Ismail Mannarkkad expertly coordinated the sound and lighting, ensuring a seamless and technically impeccable presentation.
A delightful highlight of the evening was the graceful dance performance by young talents Hana and Hiba, whose impressive presentation earned prolonged applause from the audience. In recognition of their artistic promise, Jeddah Sauhrda Koottayma honoured the young performers with gifts. The programme was graced by several prominent personalities from Jeddah’s social, cultural and community circles, including Vasu Hamdan, Mohan Balan, Zaheer Manjali, Abdullah Mukkanni, Abdul Rahman Mavoor, Basheer Paruthikkunnan, Rafi Beemapally, Jaffarali Palakkode, Zulfikkar Othayi and Badusha Master. The presence of Joy Moolan, Dr. Junaise Babu, Managing Director of Good Hope International Group, Salam, proprietor of Ryan Gym, and singer Vijesh Chandru, among others, further enhanced the stature of the occasion.
