JEDDAH: MAS Jeddah hosted a vibrant Hindi musical extravaganza, ‘Rang Tarang’, bringing together music enthusiasts and members of Jeddah’s diverse expatriate community for an evening filled with melody, artistry and cultural harmony.
The programme, held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at BMR Restaurant in Mushrifah, Jeddah attracted a large and enthusiastic gathering. Organised with a focus on artistic excellence and entertainment, the event was curated by Hassan Kondotty and Nooh Beemapally.
The evening featured a rich selection of popular Hindi songs, with talented singers creating an atmosphere of nostalgia and celebration. Jeddah-based Bollywood vocalist Bassam was among the major highlights of the programme. His soulful renditions and engaging stage presence won warm appreciation and enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Nooh Beemapally, Sofia Sunil, Raiza Aamir, Adnan, Rafi Aluva, Mansoor Pang, Aishwarya Anil, Harishma, Ardra, Afra Sabin Rafi, Ramya Bruce and Hassan Kondotty also presented a variety of Hindi melodies, adding colour and diversity to the musical evening.
Suvija Sathyan and Hassan Kondotty served as the comperes and guided the programme smoothly, adding warmth and energy to the proceedings.
Nawas Beemapally, Gafoor Mahi and Ashraf Chukkan welcomed the guests, while Ismail Mannarkkad took care of the sound and lighting arrangements, contributing to the smooth conduct of the programme.
Young performers Hana and Hiba added a special attraction to the evening with a graceful dance performance. Their presentation received prolonged applause from the audience. Recognising their talent, Jeddah Sauhrda Koottayma honoured the young performers with gifts.
The program was attended by several prominent members of Jeddah’s social and cultural community, including JTS Eng. Kaja Mohideen, Vasu Hamdan, Mohan Balan, Zaheer Manjali, Abdullah Mukkanni, Abdul Rahman Mavoor, Basheer Paruthikkunnan, Rafi Beemapally, Jaffarali Palakkode, Zulfikkar Othayi and Badusha Master.
Joy Moolan, Dr. Junaise Babu, Managing Director of Good Hope International Group, Salam, proprietor of Ryan Gym, singer Vijesh Chandru and several other community and cultural personalities were also present.
Beginning at 8 p.m., the programme continued well into the night, keeping the audience engaged with a series of melodious performances. The event concluded on a high note, with the performers receiving warm appreciation from the gathering.
‘Rang Tarang’ was more than a musical programme; it provided an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together and celebrate the timeless appeal of Hindi music. The successful event reflected MAS Jeddah’s continued efforts to promote cultural activities and strengthen friendship and togetherness within the expatriate community.
