Riyadh: The team of the active educational and social organisation Indian Forum for Education (IFE) held a meeting with the Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Vipul, at the Embassy of India in Riyadh.
According to a press note issued by the Forum, the IFE delegation discussed social development, educational challenges and related matters with the Ambassador. The team also briefed him on the organisation’s ongoing activities and initiatives.
During the meeting, the delegation emphasised the need for greater awareness and public outreach regarding the National Education Policy (NEP). Due to a lack of information, many Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) working in Saudi Arabia continue to face various difficulties. Issues related to higher education for non-resident Indian students in the Kingdom were also taken up.
The IFE team comprised Dr Dilshad Ahmed (President), Mr Shahzad Samdani (Vice President), Mr Salman Khalid Bakhsh (Vice President – Academic), and members Mr Shahzad Khan, Mr Arshad Jawed Khan and Dr Javed Ahmed.
The discussion was constructive and focused on practical measures to strengthen educational opportunities and community engagement for the Indian diaspora in Saudi Arabia.
