SHARJAH: Green Globe – Humanity First successfully organized a Platelet Donation Drive on 20 September 2026 in coordination with the Blood Transfusion and Research Centre, Sharjah – Emirates Health Services (EHS).
The humanitarian initiative brought together dedicated platelet donors, volunteers, and community supporters with one common purpose—to help save lives and serve humanity. Many donors participated enthusiastically and generously donated their platelets, contributing to the well-being of patients in need.
The event was presided over by Mrs. Jasmin Abubacker, Founder of Green Globe. Distinguished guests who graced the occasion included Mr. Anwardeen, Founder of Anwar Group; Mr. Sameer, Chairman of SAMCO; social activist Mr. Mohammed Raziq; music composer Mr. Shaheed; Ms. Aarthi Ashwin, Founder of Cosmora Marketing; UAE film actor Mr. Abdullah Jabali; Mr. Sabeen, motivational speaker; Mr. Nawazudeen, office-bearer of the Trichy Jamal Mohamed College Alumni Association; and Mr. Raziq Ameen.
The drive was effectively coordinated by Green Globe members Rasool, Tahir, Sabir, Peer Mohammed, and Abdul Rahman, along with dedicated volunteers. Lunch, drinking water, and tea were provided to all participants and volunteers.
Green Globe extended its heartfelt appreciation to Emirates Health Services (EHS), the Blood Transfusion and Research Centre, all donors, volunteers, coordinators, and supporters for their valuable contributions. Every donation can give hope to a patient in need.
At the conclusion of the event, heartfelt thanks were expressed to everyone who extended their support and cooperation towards making the platelet donation camp a great success.
