Finding Inner Stability Amid Uncertainty: Kriya Yoga Talk & Guidance in Hyderabad

By: Syed Zia ur Rahman, YaHind.Com

Hyderabad, September 2026 — In a world marked by job insecurity, relationship pressures, rising stress and anxiety, global conflicts and natural disasters, more people are seeking practical ways to stay calm, centred and resilient. Against this backdrop, the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) is organising a special programme titled “Talk and Practical Guidance on Kriya Yoga” with senior YSS sannyasi Swami Smaranananda Giri on October 1 and 2, 2026 in Hyderabad.

Kriya Yoga, taught by Paramahansa Yogananda, is a scientific meditation technique that helps practitioners turn attention inward, build concentration, calmness and deeper inner awareness. The programme aims to answer a common question many are asking today: What exactly is Kriya Yoga, and how does one practise it?

During the sessions, Swami Smaranananda Giri will introduce the science and purpose of Kriya Yoga, its relevance to modern life, and how regular meditation can foster inner balance amid daily pressures and uncertainties. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn the basic steps of Kriya Yoga meditation under his personal guidance.

Those wishing to go deeper can attend a three-day Kriya Yoga programme from October 2 to 4 at the same venue, which offers a more comprehensive introduction to the spiritual path and meditation practices taught by YSS.
