JEDDAH: Underscoring the life-saving power of community solidarity and the enduring humanitarian spirit of the Indian diaspora, Global Telangana Forum (GTF) Vice President Mohammed Layeeq and his team members Osman Ahmed, Mohammed Ashfaq, Mohammed Raheemuddin and Mohammed Ahsan Sarwar recently addressed a press conference and appealed to members of the Indian community to come forward in large numbers for the organisation’s upcoming blood donation camp.
The blood donation drive, on the occasion of Saudi National Day & Indian Independence Day aimed at encouraging voluntary contributions and strengthening the spirit of service, will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the King Abdul Aziz Hospital Blood Bank – Gate 2, accessible through the Emergency Entrance Gate, Mahajar. Mohammed Layeeq said that a few minutes spent donating blood can become a lifeline for someone in need, urging members of the Indian community to participate wholeheartedly. He noted that blood remains vital for surgeries, medical treatments, accident victims and emergencies, with every eligible donor capable of making a meaningful difference, further he added recently GTF had one Blood donation camp at Dammam and Riyadh under the leadership of Mr. Abdul Jabbar the President of GTF.
GTF humbly appeals to the Indian community to come forward in large numbers and support this noble blood donation drive. Every drop can make a difference and give someone a precious chance at life. Your participation and support are sincerely requested to make this humanitarian initiative a success.
