JEDDAH: With Artificial Intelligence (AI) rapidly transforming the way people learn, work, and engage with technology, equipping young people with the knowledge and skills to navigate this evolving digital landscape has become increasingly important. Recognising the immense potential of AI as a powerful tool for education, innovation and personal development, the Risala Study Circle (RSC) Jeddah North Zone organised an AI workshop aimed at fostering technological awareness and empowering the younger generation.
The workshop was designed to bridge the gap between emerging technology and its practical application in everyday life. It provided participants with comprehensive firsthand exposure to a range of AI tools, their distinctive capabilities, and practical applications, while highlighting how these technologies can be effectively used to enhance learning, productivity, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The sessions highlighted the effective and responsible use of AI tools in everyday life, stressing the importance of precise prompts for better results and urging users to approach the rapidly evolving AI landscape with confidence, awareness, and responsibility rather than like a deer caught in the headlights.
The workshop was led by Engineer Faseen Ahmed, a representative of the IT Department at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), while the subsequent sessions were conducted by Shamshad Perinthalmanna, Rafeeq Kootayi and Jabir Naeemi. Their insightful presentations and practical guidance enriched the programme, while participants actively engaged in the sessions and raised queries for further clarification. The event was attended by Noufal Musliyar, Mansoor Chundampatta, Fairouz Vellila, Saleem Vengara, Abubacker Faalili and Shafi Bin Shaduli, among others.
