JEDDAH: In recognition of his longstanding commitment to social service, community welfare and entrepreneurial endeavours, prominent social activist and Germany-based entrepreneur Dr. Mohammed Ali Koonari has been nominated to the German Coordination Council of NORKA. His nomination marks another significant milestone in a journey distinguished by community engagement, organisational leadership and sustained contributions to the welfare of the expatriate community.
A well-established businessman with several years of professional and entrepreneurial experience in Germany, Dr. Koonari has also carved a distinctive niche through his active involvement in community organisations and business ventures. He currently serves as the Chairman of the KMCC European Union and as Managing Director of M.A.K. International Trading, Welt Supermarket and Tajmahal Stores, reflecting his multifaceted engagement across social, organisational and commercial spheres.
Hailing from A.R. Nagar in Malappuram, Dr. Mohammed Ali Koonari is the beloved son of Abdullakkutty Koonari and Khadeeja Ilavattassery, whose values and upbringing have remained a cherished foundation of his journey. He shares his family life with his wife, Rasha, and their three children, Janish, Ilham and Aylin, who remain an integral part of his personal journey and source of strength.
