Hyderabad, May 29, 2026: The legal fraternity and the Muslim community of Hyderabad are in deep mourning following the passing of Janab Ghulam Yazdani Sahab, a highly respected Designated Senior Advocate, at the age of 98.
He breathed his last on 28th May 2026 (corresponding to 10th Zilhijja 1447 AH) at Century Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Janab Ghulam Yazdani Sahab was widely admired as a pillar of the community — a man of integrity, wisdom, and compassion who earned the love and respect of countless people across legal, social, and religious circles. He served as one of the longest-serving devotees of Jama Masjid-e-Aliya, Gunfoundry.
His demise comes just days after the tragic martyrdom of his son-in-law, Janab Khaja Moizuddin Advocate Sahab, who was allegedly murdered by the Waqf Mafia last Saturday. Sources close to the family say that Ghulam Yazdani Sahab, who was already under treatment, could not bear the profound shock of losing his son-in-law, with whom he shared the same household.
Funeral Arrangements
• The mortal remains are currently kept at Jaweed Maskan, Hill Fort, Naubat Pahad.
• They will be shifted to his residence in Gunfoundry at 10:00 AM.
• Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered at Jama Masjid-e-Aliya, Gunfoundry, after Namaz-e-Juma (Friday prayers).
The bereaved family has requested prayers for the departed soul and strength for the grieving family members in this hour of immense sorrow.
