JEDDAH:- Urdu Academy Jeddah organized its 12th Quarterly Program for the year 2026 with traditional zeal and enthusiasm at the Girls’ Section of International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ), Aziziyah. The event was specially arranged to honor and encourage students from Jeddah, popularly known as the “Bride of the Red Sea,” who secured distinction and outstanding results in the recent CBSE Board examinations.
The ceremony was presided over by Hafiz Mohammad Abdus Salam, President of Urdu Academy Jeddah, while Dr. Mohammad Aslam Khan Chairman IISJ Management Committee, attended as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests included Abdul Qadeer Hassan Siddiqui and Dr. Mohammad Imran Principal IISJ.
The event was attended by a galaxy of prominent personalities from Jeddah, including former IISJ Chairman Dr. Mohammad Abdul Saleem, Prince Mufti Zia, Mohammad Farooq, Mrs Farhadunnisa Vice Principal GS, Mrs. Naheed Fatima AO, Dr. Mohammad Asif Khan, Member IISJ SMC and Dr. Sabna Kutta , Member IISJ SMC, Mahtab Qadr, and Syed Afzaluddin Naqshbandi, all of them praised Urdu Academy Jeddah for its continued dedication to academic excellence and cultural enrichment.
The program commenced with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Mohammad Nizamuddin Ghouri, followed by an emotionally moving Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (SAW) presented by Dr. Khawaja Yameenuddin. In his welcome address, Hafiz Mohammad Abdus Salam highlighted the Academy’s literary and educational initiatives aimed at promoting the Urdu language and supporting the younger generation.
The event, moderated by Program Coordinator Aslam Afghani, featured keynote speeches by Dr. Mohammad Aslam Khan and Dr. Mohammad Imran. Both speakers emphasized the cultural importance of the Urdu language and stressed the need for moral and academic development among youth, encouraging students to continue striving toward excellence.
A special segment of the evening was dedicated to honoring members of the IISJ Managing Committee, including Syed Naeemuddin Bari, Dr. Mohammad Asif Khan, and Dr. Sabna Kutta. Recognition was also extended to Dr. Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig, along with guests of honor Dr. Mohammad Imran and Abdul Qadeer Hassan Siddiqui.
The audience enjoyed several intellectual and entertaining sessions, including “Alfaz-o-Maani” conducted by Dr. Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig and “Adhoore Ashaar” presented by Joint Coordinator Syed Abdul Wahab Qadri. Dr. Khawaja Yameenuddin and Athar Usloobi added a touch of humor through an engaging speech segment that received enthusiastic applause.
One of the highlights of the evening was a lively Mock Mushaira, where talented students including Bariyah Fatima, Huda Irfan Hashmi, Zoya Manal, Maryam Fatima, Zainab Subhani, Anaya Maheen Khan, Mohammad Farhan Ahmed, Hasan Mustafa, Mohammad Rahmatullah, Shayan Waris, Riaz-ur-Rahman, Mohammad Sohail, and Mohammad Maaz impressed the audience with their poetic recitations and delivery skills.
Following the performances, commemorative mementos were presented to the CBSE toppers and participants by the guests of honor. In appreciation of their dedicated services, ceremonial shawls were also presented to the teaching staff.
The successful execution of the event was further supported by Hafiz Mohammad Nizamuddin Ghouri, Mohammad Jaffar, Abdul Qadeer, Mohammad Waseem, and several dedicated volunteers.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mohammad Yusuf Waheed, who expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries, school management, guests, and parents for their valuable support and participation in making the program a grand success. Logistical arrangements were efficiently managed by Mohammad Yahya, Ghilmaan Raza, and Sirajunnisa. The program was broadcast live through the cooperation of Hafiz Zeeshan Ali, Hafiz Mohammad Zubair, and Sheikh Aleem.
