Dar Al Majd International School successfully organized its 8th Annual Awards Ceremony on 29th January 2026, celebrating student excellence, perseverance, and holistic development under the inspiring theme “Inna Ma’al Usri Yusra” (Indeed, with hardship comes ease).
The program commenced on a spiritually uplifting note with the recitation of the Noble Qur’an by Musa Saleemullah, Eshal Aman, and Safana Mohammed Ramzan, setting a serene and reflective tone for the evening.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests. Ms. Humaira Naseem, Principal of DPS Jeddah, attended as the Chief Guest and applauded the school’s dedication to nurturing academic excellence alongside strong moral and ethical values.
Engineer Fazal Mohammad, Project Manager, Makkah, honored the occasion as the Guest of Honour, appreciating the students’ talents and the school’s consistent efforts in character building.
Adding great value to the event, Mr. Mohammad Noman Makki from King Abdullah Medical City, Makkah, delivered an insightful session on Effective parenting in the age of Artificial Intelligence. His talk resonated strongly with parents and educators, emphasizing mindful parenting and guidance in today’s rapidly evolving digital world.
The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of a Special Guest, Badshah EK, a renowned educator and journalist from Jeddah, whose association added further inspiration and credibility to the occasion.
The cultural segment of the program was vibrant, meaningful, and deeply inspiring. The audience was warmly welcomed with the soulful “Salaami–Salaami” welcome performance, followed by a thought-provoking presentation titled “The Gates to Jannah.” A heartfelt tribute to Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) reminded the audience of steadfast faith, sacrifice, and loyalty to Islam.
Students showcased discipline and confidence through a dynamic Karate performance, while “Nahnu Fityatul Qur’an” beautifully reflected their deep connection with Islamic learning. A special performance on “Fa Inna Ma’al Usri Yusra” powerfully conveyed the central theme of hope and resilience. The students also presented a moving tribute to DAMIS, expressing gratitude and pride in their beloved institution. Additionally, a stimulating mind performance highlighted creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork, along with other engaging performances that captivated the audience.
Sharing her reflections, Academic Director Ms. Salma Shaikh commended the relentless efforts of the teaching team and applauded the students for their dedication, confidence, and exceptional performances. She expressed pride in the collective hard work of educators and learners, emphasizing that such programs reflect the school’s commitment to excellence, values, and holistic development.
The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the Saudi National Anthem, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Arifa Begum, acknowledging the guests, parents, teachers, and students for their unwavering support. The program ended with a concluding Saudi National Anthem leaving the audience inspired and reflective.
The 8th Annual Awards Ceremony stood as a testament to the school’s mission of fostering resilience, faith, and excellence, beautifully reflecting the essence of its theme, “Inna Ma’al Usri Yusra.”
