His family confirmed that he passed away at approximately 6:00 AM at his residence in Hyderabad, Telangana. The funeral prayer was held after the Asr prayer at Quba Mosque, Saidabad, attended by a large gathering of writers, admirers, and community members, with his burial taking place at Masjid-e-Elahi Cemetery.
