Dubai, October 29,2026:
Green Globe, a social welfare organization authorized by the Community Development Authority (CDA), successfully organized a large-scale blood donation campaign on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Naif Police Station in Dubai, with the support of Dubai Police and in collaboration with Emirates Health Services (EHS).
Held under the humanitarian theme “Donate Blood, Save Lives,” the campaign witnessed an encouraging response, attracting approximately 160 participants. Following medical screening and eligibility assessments, 124 units of blood were successfully collected, marking a significant achievement in the organization’s ongoing humanitarian efforts.
The campaign was led by Mrs. Yasmine Abubacker, Founder of Green Globe, and coordinated by dedicated team members Rasul, Abubacker, Tahir, Abdul Rahman, Shabir, and Peer Mohamed.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Ms. Suchithra, Owner of BOHO; Jafar of Salalah Stationery; Rafeeq of Peace and Care; senior journalist Muthuvai Hidayath; Manavalan ;Manager; Nasser of Salalah Stamp; Raja of Sharjah; Shahul Hameed; Naseer; Dr. Deepak from Prime Medical; Dental Specialist Dr. Swarna Rohini Rajagopal; and educationist Latha Ramakrishnan.
A dedicated team of volunteers played an important role in coordinating the arrangements and ensuring the smooth conduct of the campaign. Refreshments, including snacks, tea, fresh fruits, and juices, were provided to donors, guests, medical professionals, and volunteers.
Green Globe expressed its sincere appreciation to Dubai Police for their valuable support and cooperation, Emirates Health Services for providing the medical team and facilities, and all sponsors, supporters, guests, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the initiative.
The campaign highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and demonstrated how collective community participation can make a meaningful difference in saving lives.
