Dubai: Dubai Public Library, in collaboration with Green Globe, will organise ‘Pink Hope – Celebration of Life’, an awareness event aimed at promoting early detection, awareness and empowerment in the fight against breast and cervical cancer.
The event will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 3 pm to 9:30 pm at Hor Al Anz Library in Dubai. The initiative seeks to highlight the importance of cancer awareness, encourage early detection and inspire individuals and families to take an active role in promoting better health and well-being.
As part of the programme, children are invited to prepare A3-size posters on breast cancer and cervical cancer awareness. The poster activity aims to engage young participants in spreading health awareness and encourage meaningful conversations about prevention and the importance of early diagnosis.
Participation certificates will be presented to those taking part, while winners will receive certificates and attractive prizes. Participants are required to submit their posters by 1 pm on the day of the event.
Under the theme ‘Together for a Healthier Tomorrow’, Pink Hope seeks to bring the community together to promote awareness, compassion and collective action in support of cancer prevention and early detection.
The event offers an opportunity for children, families and community members to contribute to a meaningful cause and help spread a message of hope, awareness and support for those affected by cancer.
