Amina Begum, wife of late Mirza Hafeez Baig, passes away in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Respected Amina Begum, wife of the late Mirza Hafeez Baig, passed away on Friday, 9 October 2026, at the age of 90.
Namaz-e-Janaza was offered after the Dhuhr (Friday) prayer at 1:15 pm at Choti Masjid, Murad Nagar. The burial took place at the cemetery adjacent to Masjid Aqsa, Samtha Colony, near Seven Tombs (Qutub Shahi Saat Gumbad), Tolichowki, in the presence of a large number of relatives, friends and well-wishers.
She is survived by her daughter Mahjabeen Nikhat and son Mirza Majeed Baig (Naveed). Another daughter, the late Zahrajebeen Nuzhath Wajihuddin, had predeceased her.
The family requests prayers for the forgiveness of her shortcomings, that Allah envelop her grave with noor, elevate her ranks, and grant her the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.
