Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – November 12, 2025: In a vibrant celebration of youth empowerment and outdoor adventure, Yara International School successfully hosted Udaan 2025, a thrilling three-day Scouts and Guides Camp from October 23 to 25 at its Boys’ Section campus. Drawing enthusiastic participation from students in Grades 6 to 12, the event underscored the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership, independence, and a strong sense of community among its young learners.
The camp, meticulously organized by the school, provided seamless accommodation and nourishing meals, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in the experience without any logistical hurdles. Key highlights included an electrifying Campfire Night and the much-anticipated Grand Campfire Night, where students bonded over stories, songs, and laughter under the stars. Adding to the excitement was an invigorating Outdoor Visit to the scenic Wadi Namir Park, complemented by a series of Recreational Games that promoted physical fitness and teamwork.
The grand campfire ceremony served as a poignant moment, with the flame being ceremoniously lit by Principal Mrs. Aasima Saleem and Chief Patron Mr. Habeeb Ul Rahman. They were joined by the Vice Principal, Middle Leaders, Scouts Masters, and Guides Captain, symbolizing the collective guidance and support extended to the young explorers.
The camp reached its emotional crescendo at the Closing Ceremony, where outstanding performers in the Pratham Sopan Exam were honored with well-deserved recognition. The event also warmly welcomed fresh recruits into the Scouts and Guides fold through the presentation of Pravesh Certificates, marking the beginning of their journey in character-building activities.
As the curtains fell on Udaan 2025, students departed not just with cherished memories but armed with invaluable life lessons in teamwork, discipline, and the sheer joy of camaraderie. “This camp is more than an event—it’s a launchpad for our students to soar high, embodying the true spirit of ‘Udaan’,” remarked Principal Mrs. Aasima Saleem, encapsulating the essence of the initiative.
