Hyderabad, July 7, 2025 – The legal community of Telangana and the residents of Jangaon are deeply saddened by the passing of Mohd Vali ur Rahman, a distinguished Senior Advocate of the Telangana High Court, who left for his heavenly abode on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at ESI Hospital in Hyderabad. Aged 54, he succumbed to health complications following a prolonged illness stemming from Covid-19.
Born and raised in Jangaon, Mohd Vali ur Rahman was a towering figure in the legal profession, known for his sharp intellect, unwavering dedication, and ethical practice at the City Civil Court in Hyderabad. With a career spanning over three decades, he earned a reputation as a compassionate and skilled advocate, handling complex cases with finesse while mentoring young lawyers. His approachable demeanor and commitment to justice made him a respected figure among peers, clients, and the judiciary alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Vali ur Rahman was celebrated for his kind-hearted and friendly nature, fostering meaningful connections with everyone he met. As the Ex-President of Jamaitush Shabab Jangaon, he was deeply involved in social work, championing causes such as education, community welfare, and youth empowerment. His initiatives included organizing educational workshops, charity drives, and community development programs, which significantly uplifted the lives of many in Jangaon and beyond. His leadership in these efforts reflected his belief in using his influence for the greater good.
Vali ur Rahman’s health had been fragile since contracting Covid-19, which led to recurring complications. On the early morning of July 6, 2025, he experienced a sudden deterioration in his condition and was rushed to ESI Hospital in Hyderabad, where he passed away. The news of his demise sent shockwaves through the community, with tributes pouring in from colleagues, friends, and admirers.

His funeral prayer, held in his hometown of Jangaon, saw an outpouring of grief and respect. Among those who attended were childhood friends and prominent figures, including Mubarazuddin Mujahed from Dubai, Syed Zia ur Rahman of YaHind.Com, Jamal Shareef Advocate, Iqbal Ahmed, Nahid, Akheel Ahmed, and numerous others who came to bid farewell to a beloved friend and community leader. The gathering was a testament to the profound impact Vali ur Rahman had on those around him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, two sons, and one daughter, who are grappling with this immense loss. His family is well-regarded in the region, with his elder brothers holding prominent positions: Shafiq ur Rahman, Retired Head Master, Late Rafiq ur Rahman, Ex-Councilor, Jangaon Muncipal, Mohd Mujeeb ur Rahman serves as the Chairman of Rahmaniya B.Ed College in Jangaon, shaping the future of education; Mohd Jameel ur Rahman is the Principal Correspondent at 4Sides TV Channel in Hyderabad, contributing to journalism; and Mohd Razi ur Rahman is a Construction and Civil Consultant in Hyderabad, known for his expertise in infrastructure development. His younger brothers, Mohd Altaf ur Rahman and Mohd Obaid ur Rahman, are professionals based in Saudi Arabia, contributing to their respective fields.
Mohd Vali ur Rahman’s legacy is one of compassion, service, and excellence. His contributions to the legal profession and his tireless efforts in social work will continue to inspire generations.
