Hyderabad, September 24, 2025, 01:50 AM IST – Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, a revered former Indian Foreign Service officer who served as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Seychelles, and as ex-Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, graced the SAP Kidney Care Center in Hyderabad with a visit. The occasion featured a special luncheon and the ceremonial launch of a cutting-edge ABG (Arterial Blood Gas) analyzer in the laboratory, attended by a distinguished group of NRI returnees from Saudi Arabia. The tour of the facility’s advanced departments and medical equipment was led by Founder and Chairman Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Director of Nephrology and Transplant Services Dr. Shoeb Ahmed Khan, and Director of SAP Group Dr. Aqib Ahmed Khan.
Following the tour, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed showered praise on the SAP Kidney Center team, lauding their exceptional leadership under Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan in maintaining world-class standards. “This kidney center rivals the best in any developed nation,” he enthused, highlighting the outstanding patient care, state-of-the-art facilities for hemodialysis, kidney biopsies, dialysis vascular access, and transplant services, alongside the center’s seamless operations that ensure utmost satisfaction.
Dr. Sayeed commended Dr. Shoeb Ahmed Khan, a distinguished nephrologist and transplant expert, for his innovative use of social media to educate the public about kidney diseases, offering insights on prevention, precautionary measures, symptom recognition, and timely medical consultation. He also expressed delight in learning about Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan’s visionary plans, including the recent opening of a branch in Dubai, UAE, to broaden the center’s global impact, extending his heartfelt best wishes for their future endeavors.
Dr. Shoeb Ahmed Khan underscored the dual role of physicians in treating and preventing diseases, a mission reflected in SAP’s ongoing social media campaigns via informative videos. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan shared that the center actively conducts kidney awareness programs across Telangana districts, fostering preventive care and early detection.
The event reached a heartfelt crescendo as Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan and his sons, Dr. Shoeb Ahmed Khan and Dr. Aqib Ahmed Khan, honored Dr. Ausaf Sayeed with a traditional shawl and a vibrant flower bouquet.
