JEDDAH: Echoing the timeless spirit of Ramadan—where devotion, compassion, and unity are beautifully interwoven—the annual Iftar gathering organized by the Malabar Adukkala Jeddah Chapter unfolded as a refined expression of spiritual grace and communal togetherness. Radiating warmth and generosity, the evening once again brought the expatriate community together, strengthening bonds of belonging while nurturing the values of empathy, reflection, and shared humanity.
The occasion served as a gentle yet powerful reminder of the profound blessings of Ramadan, with special emphasis on the sanctity of Laylatul Qadr. Esteemed as a night “better than a thousand months” in the Holy Qur’an, it represents a sacred opportunity for immense mercy and spiritual elevation. The message inspired attendees to seek its divine rewards with sincerity and devotion, while highlighting that true purification stems from charitable deeds, humility, and the genuineness of one’s intentions.
Enriching the evening with thoughtful insights, Kabir Kondotty, Chairman of Jeddah Kerala Pauravali, delivered a meaningful Ramadan message that resonated deeply with the audience. The program was presided over by Kubra Latheef, Coordinator and Moderator of the Malabar Adukkala Jeddah Chapter, whose graceful leadership and tireless dedication ensured the seamless conduct of the event. Malabar Adukkala Jeddah Chapter, beyond hosting Iftar gatherings, remains steadfast in its humanitarian mission. With a deep sense of social responsibility, the organization actively reaches out to the less privileged, particularly labour camp workers. Their thoughtful initiative of distributing food kits and Iftar provisions has become a meaningful tradition—extending not only nourishment but also dignity, care, and hope to many. This enduring commitment has earned the organization widespread respect and admiration within the community.
A special moment of pride marked the event as Adil, son of member Shameema, was felicitated with a memento in recognition of his admirable achievement in memorizing the Holy Qur’an. The gathering warmly applauded his dedication and extended heartfelt congratulations.
