Hyderabad, April 12, 2026: In the face of severe sanctions and isolation for over 47 years, Iran has demonstrated extraordinary resilience and the spirit of resistance, refusing to bow before powerful nations and instead charting a new path for the world. This was the central theme of a national seminar titled “Iran’s Role in Redefining International Geo-Politics” held in Hyderabad on Saturday, 11 April 2026.
The seminar, organized by Judicial Quest Magazine, dissected Iran’s strategies for evading sanctions, its nuclear diplomacy, and alliance-building through the lens of international law, treaty obligations, UN Security Council mandates, and collective security doctrines.
Mr. Najeeb Jung, former Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and Keynote Speaker, delivered a powerful address. He described the recent developments in Iran as reminiscent of the Battle of Karbala, where Iran and its people displayed unmatched love for their homeland and willingness to sacrifice. He strongly criticized the “satanic brutality” shown by the United States and Israel, while expressing deep disappointment over the “criminal silence” of most Muslim countries, especially the Gulf nations.
Mr. Jung emphasized the need to raise the voice of justice through such seminars and awareness campaigns so loudly that it reaches the corridors of power both nationally and internationally. He stated that history will remember Iran’s courage in golden words.
Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, former Ambassador and ex-Ministry of External Affairs official, spoke about the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, noting its negative repercussions on several other countries. He criticized the American approach, asserting that this era does not permit powerful nations to impose their dominance over smaller or weaker states. Dr. Sayeed also clarified that there is no Shia-Sunni divide within Iran.
H.E. Mr. Hamid Ahmadiyeh, Consul General of Iran in Hyderabad, condemned the “illegal war” imposed jointly by the United States and Israel. He highlighted that Iran is exercising patience and restraint while demonstrating its strength within the framework of international law to defend its nation and people.
The Consul General expressed gratitude to the Indian people for standing in solidarity with Iran during these difficult times. He affirmed that under the leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran will never surrender before oppressive forces.
Mr. Qurban Ali, former BBC World Service correspondent and well-known political commentator, sharply criticized the Gulf countries for their stance and expressed regret that India, in this hour of trial, had shown disloyalty by abandoning its long-standing and good friend Iran.
Other distinguished speakers included Hujjatul Islam Aga Mujahid Hussain, Religious Scholar & Managing Director of Olive Hospital, Hyderabad, and Dr. Shaukat Ali Mirza, former President of AURAK, UAE.
The program began with a welcome address by Syed Ali Taher Abedi, Editor of Judicial Quest Magazine. Mr. Syed Khaled Shahbaaz efficiently conducted the proceedings as compere.
Prominent citizens of Hyderabad attended the seminar held at the Media Academy of Telangana, Chapel Road, Nampally. At the conclusion, the organizers presented mementos to the guests.
The seminar underscored Iran’s steadfast resistance against overwhelming odds and called for global awareness and justice in international affairs.
