Jeddah, September 3, 2025 – The International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ) has proudly unveiled its newly renovated kindergarten (KG) building, marking a significant milestone in ensuring a safe, modern, and nurturing environment for its youngest learners. The long-overdue overhaul addressed critical issues of disrepair, including mite-infested wooden doors and outdated bathroom facilities, which posed safety and hygiene concerns.
Under the visionary leadership of Chairman Dr. Mohammed Abdul Saleem, Principal Dr. Mohammad Imran, and the IISJ School Management Committee, the renovation project was strategically executed during the summer vacation to avoid disrupting academic activities. The transformation includes the replacement of all wooden doors with durable aluminum ones, enhancing both safety and the building’s aesthetic appeal. Additionally, worn-out flooring was replaced with fresh, durable tiles across classrooms, corridors, and the main aisle, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.
A key focus of the renovation was the complete overhaul of the bathrooms, where all fittings were upgraded to meet stringent hygiene and safety standards. Management Committee member Mr. Prince Zia emphasized the meticulous attention given to ensuring these facilities are now safe and child-friendly.
The project received unwavering support from the Consul General of India, Shri Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, whose guidance and encouragement were instrumental in its success. Shri Suri formally inaugurated the revamped building, touring the premises and commending the quality of work and the dedication behind it.
Principal Dr. Mohammad Imran expressed his pride in the achievement, stating, “The renovation of our kindergarten building is more than an infrastructure upgrade—it’s about creating a safe, modern, and inspiring environment for our students. Every detail has been designed with their comfort and well-being in mind, ensuring an optimal setting for learning and growth.”
