AI & Data Science Workshop organized by AMUOBA Jeddah in collaboration with the Consulate General of India concluded with remarkable success. More than 600 students filled the IISJ auditorium, their enthusiasm turning the event into a powerful beginning for future-focused learning.
The program opened with motivating remarks by *Engr. Aqeel Jamil, President AMUOBA Jeddah, followed by *Dr. Imran, Principal IISJ, who gave a clear and engaging overview of recent developments in AI.
The highlight was the inspiring address by *H.E. Mr. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, Consul General of India. Speaking directly to the students, he emphasized preparing early for the era of AI and aligning with the vision of *Viksit Bharat, giving the young audience a clear roadmap for the future.
The academic sessions were exceptional.
Prof. M. M. Sufiyan Begh delivered an insightful and humorous lecture on Artificial Intelligence, reminding students that:
“There is no AI without the ‘I’. If you are not intelligent, no machine can help you.”
This was followed by an illuminating talk by Prof. Emmanuel Nyakwende, who explained how Data Science forms the backbone of modern innovation, making complex ideas simple and relatable.
The event flowed smoothly under the anchoring of Dr. Prince Zia, General Secretary AMUOBA Jeddah.
The students’ response was overwhelming—applause, thoughtful questions, and genuine excitement reflected the deep impact of the workshop.
