A grand SATA Iftar Event was successfully held on March 12, 2025, in Safwa, Saudi Arabia. On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, hundreds of members from the SATA Eastern Region participated and made the event a great success.
The event was efficiently organized by Event Director Shashi Jagan, who received special appreciation from the guests for his excellent coordination. Children including Karan, Sauparnika, Deepu, Bhuvan, and other kids enthusiastically participated and added a joyful spirit to the program.
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests Abdul Majeed Bathuruddin, Avinash Karnik, Anil Malpani, and Sadiq Ali, whose presence added prestige to the occasion.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to Shravan Gonti and Jagadeesh Palapala for efficiently managing the food arrangements. The women’s team—Divya Pavan, Vijaya Kishore, Preeti Naresh, Jayashree, Kusumanjali, Bhagyalakshmi, Manasa, Alekhya, and Mandira—also worked tirelessly in organizing the Iftar arrangements and contributed greatly to the success of the event.
During the event, a Food Competition was conducted in which Usha and Tasneem emerged as winners and were awarded two gold coins as prizes.
For the Best Kheer Competition, the judging panel included Bharat Ji, Sadiq Srinivas, Bhuvan (Junior Judge), and Kishore Guruji.
For the Biryani Competition, the judges were Abdul Majeed Ji, Rakesh Patnaik Ji, Deepu, and Mandira Raghu.
During the program, Dr. Syed Shajiyulla Naveed delivered an insightful speech explaining the significance of the holy month of Ramadan. Chandana also shared her personal experience and created awareness about how breast cancer can be cured if detected at an early stage, which inspired many attendees.
SATA Eastern Region President Teja thanked the core team, volunteers, and members for their efforts in making the event successful.
