Riyadh, September 26, 2025 – In a spirited initiative to foster community service and national pride, the Embassy of India in Riyadh, in collaboration with MY Bharat and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, is set to organize the Viksit Bharat Run 2025. The event, scheduled for tomorrow, September 27, 2025 (Saturday), will kick off at 6:30 AM from the Multi-purpose Hall of the Embassy of India in the Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh.
This run forms a key highlight of Seva Pakhwada, observed as Seva Parv from September 17 to October 2, 2025. Seva Pakhwada is a dedicated fortnight emphasizing service (Seva Bhav), social responsibility, civic participation, and collective effort. Activities during this period are held both in India and abroad to inspire community involvement and reflect the ethos of shared duty.
Under the theme “Run to Serve the Nation,” the Viksit Bharat Run 2025 is being rolled out across more than 150 cities worldwide. It commemorates the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and aligns with the long-term vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 – a developed and self-reliant India by the centenary of independence.
Participants can look forward to a 3-5 km Community Run, bringing together citizens and the Indian diaspora. The event will also include pledges for Viksit Bharat and Atmanirbhar Bharat, reinforcing commitments to national development and self-reliance. Adding an eco-friendly touch, tree plantation drives under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative will symbolize environmental sustainability. Cultural elements, featuring local leaders and community representatives, will showcase India’s progress under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
The Embassy extends a warm invitation to all members of the Indian diaspora, friends of India, local residents, and the broader Riyadh community to join in. “By participating, you not only contribute to India’s growth but also build stronger global bonds among Indians, creating a network of support and inspiration,” the organizers stated.
