Hyderabad, September 29, 2025 – Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung remained steadfast in his efforts to awaken the new generation. Tributes were paid to the leader of the nation for his truthfulness, boldness, and political insight.
Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung, the leader of the nation, always strived to instill in the youth a sense of harmony with the demands of the time, awareness of current affairs, and political consciousness. If the leader’s life had been granted more time, the bloodshed and devastation during the fall of Hyderabad might have been averted. Bahadur Yar Jung had foreseen the decline of the Deccan Sultanate much earlier, as signs of deviation from the right path and the rulers’ style of governance began to emerge.
These sentiments were expressed by various speakers addressing the launch ceremony of Dr. Zahid Hussain Timmapuri’s book, “Bahadur Yar Jung: Life and Literary Services.” The event was organized by the Media Plus Foundation and held at the Media Plus Auditorium in Hyderabad. In his address, Nawab Shahid Ghulam Rasool Khan shed detailed light on the lesser-known aspects of the leader’s life.
