Riyadh – Yara International School conducted the “Academic Excellence Award” and “Investiture ceremony” recently. The occasion reverberated with fervor and exuberance set off by the Founding Day celebrations on 17th May.
The event was well attended by dignitaries and the parent community. The CEO Mr. Khalid Al Idrees and Chief patron, Mr. Habeebur Rahman presided over the function. The Principal, Mrs. Aasima Saleem, in her welcome address, congratulated the students on their stellar performance at the CBSE Board Exam 2022-23. Chief Patron Mr. Habeebur Rahman reiterated the school’s noble vision in providing quality education and also felicitated the toppers. The subject toppers and school toppers were presented with certificates and mementos amidst much applause and cheering.
Miss. Safia Ansari brought acclaim to Yara International School by securing first position in the Commerce stream among all CBSE schools in KSA. She scored an amazing score of 97.2%. Miss. Sania Nadeem too deserves a special mention as she was placed 3rd in KSA in the Humanities stream with 93.2%. Miss Maliha Mujeeb is the school topper in 10th with 96.2%.
The next segment of the program witnessed the induction of the newly elected Student Council of Yara International School. The young office bearers were decorated with badges and sashes. The principal administered the oath of office signifying the official start of the school parliament. The Head Girl Miss. Bushra Ajaz and the Head boy Master Farazuddin Khan bore allegiance to the institution and promised to uphold their duties and responsibilities.
The auspicious event established a positive tone for the coming academic year which is expected to be more promising and fulfilling.
