Riyadh – Indian Forum for Education (IFE) conducted a MOCK NEET Test for at Al Yasmin International School Riyadh. The mock test conducted on the same pattern as it was organized last year in June 2022. It got a lot of appreciation from students and parents.
Like last year, this year also the overwhelming response from students and parents witnessed from the day of announcement of Mock test till April 28th 2023 when the actual mock test conducted. It was first of its kind of MOCK NEET test conducted offline in Riyadh for consecutive second year.
After the huge success of last year, the parents and students were persistently awaiting for this year’s test. “This year it was a bit difficult for the team to conduct this test as Ramadan was in last Ashura but in spite of every team member’s spiritual engagement, we all came with full enthusiasm and conducted the test”, said the organizers.
150 aspirants from Riyadh, Al Qaseem, Dammam and Jubail registered for the mock test. Over 110 students attempted the mock test.
The objective of this test was to bring the awareness and acquaintance among students residing in Kingdom about this NEET test and give them an opportunity to judge their preparedness well before appearing in the official NEET test to be held on May 7th at International Indian School in Riyadh.
President, Indian Forum for Education (IFE) Dr. Dilshad Ahmed and his entire team put all efforts to make this event a unique of its kind. The test was conducted as a simulation to actual NEET test. Seating arrangements, invigilators (school teachers) and other logistics were made to student feel as if they are appearing in actual NEET.
The reason behind the Mock Test was continuous requests from parents and students who benefitted from last year’s mock test and having their wards appearing this year. The team started working on this and took the opinion of parents through google survey/registration/ Chat created by IFE member Engr Farhan and an overwhelming response from parents and students inducted an energy in all team members to conduct this test. After online registrations hall tickets were distributed from Al Khayyam restaurant for one week to give easy access to parents to collect keeping Ramdan under consideration. The team member’s enthusiasm this year proved that they are fully committed for community work.
In spite of busy Ramadan schedule and sacrificing their EID holidays Prof. Nasir Siddiqui, Prof. Jahangir and Prof. Javed took initiatives of preparing question papers (Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology) on the basis of guidelines and pattern of NEET 2023.
Students were updated and regularly informed about every activity related to mock test using social media.
President of IFE Dr. Dilshad Ahmad, Senior IFE member Salman Khalid, Wasi Ahmed (responsible for all documentation), Feroz khan and Arshad Jawed were involved in this one-week activity. Shahzad Samdani and Shahzad khan supported virtually from India. This year the 2nd generation of team members was introduced as Invigilators.
The result is expected to be declared soon.
