Riyadh – Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan urged the Indian job seekers coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to use only legal channels and avoid fraudulent travel agents. They should also register on “e-migrate” system and “madad” portal as these will ensure their protection in case of any problem with the employer.
Newly joined Ambassador Dr. Khan was interacting with the Indian media representatives at the Indian Embassy in Riyadh. He said that the Indian embassy is always open for the community. In addition to the official working hours, electronic means are always open.
He also requested the Indian community in Saudi Arabia to register on the website of the Indian embassy as it will help the embassy in to help the Indian nationals in various ways.
Highlighting the importance of Indo-Saudi relations the Ambassador said that strategic, business, cultural and people to people relations are very strong between the two countries. As India has become president and host of the next G20 summit, it will open the new opportunities in various sectors for both the countries.
He said that the Indian nationals in Saudi Arabia plays a vital role of bridge between the two countries. He also appreciated the social workers and community volunteers for their continuous efforts to help the Indian community. He sought the suggestions form members of media and social workers to improve the services offered to the community at the embassy.
On this occasion, the members of Indian Media Forum presented floral bouquet to Dr. Shuel Ajaz Khan and congratulated him upon his new assignment. They wished him best of luck for his tenure.
